Testimonials

Northridge Farm -- it's owners, trainers, management and staff are the most supportive group you could ask for.  It's a true home away from home.   From changing riding disciplines to retiring my senior horse and helping me search for a new partner, NRF has been with me every step.   This compassionate, enthusiastic team works tirelessly to meet both you and your horses needs.

It was February 4, 2004 when I moved my granddaughter’s POA horse, Dominick, to Northridge Farm because there were many young riders and the farm had a full-time barn manager that was always on-site during the week.  I was impressed by the openness and encouragement from Nancy Kraus Womack (owner) and her staff that later that year I moved my own gelding to the farm.  I have met and made many good friends over a period of 16 years.  Later, through some miracle, Nancy found for me, my heart horse, Canadian Sporthorse, Savannah.  I know that everyone at Northridge Farm places Savannah's welfare first.  For me and Savannah, this is home.

- Mary Benson, Boarder

My name is Kaylee Spain and I came to Northridge Farm in 2015 when I moved to Kansas City while attending KU. I was quickly welcomed with open arms. I cannot say enough positive things about the care, compassion, and instruction that Northridge Farm offers. Nancy, the owner of Northridge Farm and USDF Silver Medalist is an incredible trainer and instructor. Her instruction is clear, correct, and concise with a bit of added humor sometimes for good measure. Her training and instruction is very effective and myself and my horses improved greatly under her instruction and training. Mary, the barn manager, is a wonderful caretaker and takes the best care of the horses. She notices everything and my horses had incredible care under her. Megan is also a wonderful associate instructor and also takes wonderful care of the horses.
Unfortunately, due to job changes, I had to move away. Looking for farms that were comparable to Northridge farm in my new location proved extremely challenging. Northridge Farm has wonderful, large, grass pastures, an indoor and outdoor arena, and large stalls. I've learned that finding a combination of all of this plus good care and training is extremely difficult. So, if you are looking for a place for your horse or a place for lessons, this is it. If I ever get to move back to KC, Nancy will be my first phone call.
